"I'm hesitant to recommend Takayama because one of its charms is that it is off the beaten track, and who wants more people there to spoil this? But, in truth, the town is a wonderful place, and this hotel was very good. We came from Tokyo so were delighted to find a very large room, very clean, and very comfortable. "Beautiful view from our room. Only down side was our room was on the warmer side. And we could not figure out the AC units remote. Even with google translate pictures, the settings werent working. We resorted to opening the balcony windows and turning the heat off. Other than that the room was clean and an enjoyable space. "

"Literally next to the train and bus station so it made it very easy getting there and leavin, as well as catching the train to Shirakawago. This was important as it was snowing quite a bit and the short walk helped a lot. The facilities were very clean and overall had a great stay."

"We had such an amazing stay at this hotel, our stay was only two nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. Not only was the hotel clean, quiet, and easy to get to, but the view from our room was beyond amazing. The ammenities were so lovely, with a quiet onsen spa with views of Fuji, and easy access to a hiking trail that leads to a beautiful viewpoint up on the hills. If youre looking for a luxury hotel with once in a lifetime views of mt Fuji, this is the place for you. "

Excellent hotel in convenient location

"The staff is wonderful. The morning breakfast buffet is excellent. It is best to include the breakfast with the price of the room. The rooms are small, but very clean, furnished with adequate toiletries and a comfortable bed. Its location makes this hotel a great option. It is only a five-minute walk to the subway station and shopping area in Sakae. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We live our stay here. The rooms were spacious and clean, and felt luxurious. Staff were great, and the hotels location was a ten minute walk from the main station and shops, yet it was still quiet and relaxed in the area around the hotel. And there were great food options located close-by. While we didn’t eat at the hotel we can attest that there coffee was excellent and we recommend making sure you get your morning coffee here"

"Very convenient location. The room is normal size for Japan's standard. I love that they are going more environmental friendly. Reception is at 18 floor and does provide a good view of nagoya city but it can be annoying to go and up down if its busy. "
