"What a beautiful respite tucked away from the craziness of Bangkok, but close to all the sites. The staff and owner are lovely and very helpful. Nice breakfasts served each day usually consisted of a different Thai curry, rice and some fruit. In the four days we were there, the food was different each time. Of course coffee and tea. "This is a very basic hotel. But it is safe, clean, and comfortable. I had an inside, ensuite double room, which i think is probably much quieter than the rooms with windows, as they face the busy street and traffic. Breakfast is basic toast, cereal, and coffee/tea, served on the rooftop. Only drawback is there is no elevator. So, this is not the place for those with mobility issues. "There's a ferry pier nearby. I love the area around this place. The park-like place in front is nice and quiet. It isn't crowded like in siam area. Both MRT and Bus station ares across the river and only five minutes away if you walk. There aren't many restaurants nearby. You gotta walk around 10 mins to chinatown for food. "We love our stay from nov 23 to 28 2023, they clean our room everyday, they provided daily water, coffee and tea. Bed are so comfy.. location are so near to 711, streetfoods and local restaurant espacially to pratunam clothes vendors!!! We will definitely be back in Amber Inn"

"The property is a wonderful boutique hotel with 4 rooms. Our room was impeccable. The staff was very warming and very helpful with any and all situations. The location is within walking distance to the emerald buddha, reclining buddha, and a few other must-sees. The property owner also sent a number of recommendations. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Bangkok. P.S. the best mango sticky rice in the world is 200m away (K. Panich)."

"Comfortable bed. Quiet location. Huge thermite problem. My luggage was filled with thermites when I came home. My room was full of thermites twice. It’s a cheap hostel in Thailand, AC works, fan is good. Can’t expect much more. "

"Arm, Mark and Wine were beyond an amazing staff. Breakfast was excellent even when an early start for the day was needed, everything would be packaged up in a togo package. They handled all of transportation needed for visiting all the wonderful places in Bangkok. Not to mention all the special touches like noticed my birthday date on my passport and surprising me with cake or the special afternoon tea they set up. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Bangkok. Excellent location...

"Check in was difficult as the gentleman barely spoke English and instead of checking us in advised us incorrectly to go out of the grounds and come back out. Room wasn’t as descripted (we didn’t get a private balcony). Room wasn’t cleaned whilst we stayed, room was a bit filthy. It was unbelievably hot with only one fan. The big light in the room did not switch off. "

"Solid option for a quick Bangkok trip - 7.5/10 First thing to note that this property does not have an elevator so if you're on the top floor, it's really inconvenient to drag your luggage up and down. Also there's no shoes allowed in the guest areas so it was a bit frustrating having to take your shoes off and lock them away when the stairs/floor had dirt on them and you were just stepping in it. "This is a top class hotel and possibly the best I have ever stayed in. It is located about a 3 minute walk from the metro with easy access to all the sights. The staff in all areas are extremely courteous and go out of their way to help for anything. The general ambiance of the public area was relaxed with beautiful decoration. The rooms are spacious and spotless and well designed with gorgeous toiletries. The breakfast is amazing with a vast variety to cater for all tastes from Western to Thai. We ate at the restaurant where the service was first class and also at Vertigo which was an amazing experience. We used the hotel’s transport service to and from the hotel which was seamless. I would highly recommend this as we were coming off a long overnight flight and it made the 40 minute journey a pleasure. Overall this hotel offers the most fantastic value for money and I would recommend to anyone staying in Bangkok."
