"Great stay but no information in room about hotel etc & no aircon so we had to wedge the door open which was not ideal. Dark haired girl on spa reception was not very helpful, every time I asked a question she just said look at the website. We had no idea there was a spa world until we came out & spoke to the lady upstairs who was helpful & showed me around even though it was closed. Very helpful if we decide to come back "

"Our first visit as we were visiting a hi-fi show nearby, the new landlord had recently taken over and was in the process of making the hotel great again, he said it's been run down a little and they wanted to bring it back up. They did seem a little short staffed but other than that I cannot complain at all the food was good the beer was good the place itself was good the only downside is a noisy peacock in next doors garden!!"

"Stayed here night before track day at Oulton Park which is literally 2 minutes down the road. Place is absolutely fantastic, super good value for money. Highly recommended!"

Continental brekkie a bit naff with world's smallest croissants but my partner said full english was good. Excellent customer service and would return. Htrat for parking too as free parking until 3pm on day of departure. "

"The hotel rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Lovely beds, pillows , bath r9bes. Bathroom spotlessly clean. Plenty if tea and coffee making facilities. Easy sccess and parking. Nice to.have a beautiful restaurant on the doorstep. The staff were polite and efficient. The managers attentive. Couldnt ask for more."

"I have stayed in two of the apartments (3 and 5) - both have an equipped kitchen/living area, two bedrooms with bathrooms, and a washing machine. Apartment 3 is on the ground floor. Apartment 5 is on the first floor (up stairs) has an additional powder room. The apartments are located in an annex within easy walking distance of the hotel and all the sites in the city centre, about 100 yard, close to the city wall and River Dee. Parking is a bit crowded - barely enough space if all the apartments...

"Perfectly clean and functional. Sofa bed for my second child wasn't up to scratch and the quality of all the mattresses was pretty poor to be honest. Also the heating was on (in June) and the room was BOILING. Man working at reception couldn't have done enough for us though. Lovely service. "
