"Our high rating in this case means "Great for the price!" It's a classic old former TraveLodge complete with retro green-plastic-diamond key tags. Spotlessly clean, comfortable; nice old real-wood motel furniture; bigger-than-average minifridge and perfectly adequate microwave. So what if the bedspread is sort of ugly and the towels are small and there's shampoo but no conditioner, right? Our only real complaint was that the only coffee for the in-room coffee maker was decaf! - but that led us to find "Mudd on 66" - a great espresso place a short drive away."
