"We stayed for 2 nights at the end of a three week holiday in Malaysia and Vietnam and chose this hotel due to its location, swimming pool and price. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small but that’s standard for Singapore, and the space was used effectively. A couple of coat hooks would have made better use of one of the walls. "Easy walk from MRT. Room is big at its price. Black-out curtain. Sound-proofing could be better but it’s understandable as the building is not new. Overall very good. "

"Spent two nights here, and it was just OK. Weird decorations and theme. Not the newest or fanciest place either. A lot is going on around it, so it should only be under future pressure to improve it's looks. You can walk through neighboring park to get to Chinatown...uphill though! We had four of us in one room which was a bit cramped, but teenage boys are teenage boys. It was certainly not a bad place, but the pictures might be a bit deceiving, but what hotel doesn't only show their best...

"A nice and quite modern hotel. Great beds that were comfortable. The bathroom is a good size and ours had a very nice sized shower as well as a bath. Staff were helpful and friendly. Be aware the little tea/coffee place at the side of the reception shows hours of 8am to 8pm but, as we found at 6pm, it was now closed having closed at 6pm. Overall a great place to stay and well located for many things."
