The Quarter Hualamphong by UHG
4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (232)
"Service was very friendly. The gym, pool and included-breakfast are commendable for a hotel. One negative is the opportunistic floating concierge person selling lical rides for cheap. Once you are passed onto an unlicensed driver, you are encouraged to stop at a souvenir store for ’5 mins’ on route to the destination. That’s when you know you are being gamed. "

Miramar Hotel Bangkok
3.5 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (309)
"The staff were brilliant, kind, polite and helpful. The beds were very hard and the bathrooms need upgrading as well as the air conditioning. We upgraded to a deluxe room and found it strange that the tv was in front of the beds and not in the seating area. There were not enough plug sockets either. They also need to stop the chinese visitors from smoking in their rooms as this came through our air conditioning unit which was annoying as we don't smoke and it is supposed to be a no smoking...
