"This is a wonderful place to stay in Santa Fe, especially if you are coming for the natural scenery. The owner does warn you in advance- the drive up the mountain is intimidating. We had an all wheel drive vehicle and I suggest (as does he) the same for anyone else. On our last morning it snowed on the mountain. "Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet.
