"The staff were amazing. The room was a bit dated but the bed was comfortable, the settee wasn't. The room was nice and big, the breakfast was alright but the layout could be looked at for the queue. The pool facilities were good but need some missing tiles replacing, sharp when you caught them. Great location for walking into Chester."

"Very helpful and cheerful staff. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was great. Only downside was the lack of parking and the car park is very tight. We used the public car park across the road at £8 for 24 hours so no big drama."

"Nice hotel in a good location though works are going on in the car park outside and the gym was closed. Would recommend though and would stay again especially when the works are complete"

"Well appointed hotel with very comfortable rooms. Location is great, just 6 mins walk from city centre and reasonably priced parking 5 mins across road (Little Roodee Car Pk). Staff are really friendly and the 5th floor dining room has great views over the race course topwards Welsh mountains. Catherine in the restuarant was particularly welcoming and helpful. Thank you. "

"Attended a business dinner then stayed overnight. The food was lovely including the breakfast. Rooms were good (great shower pressure!). The only slight negative was that the earliest breakfast (Saturday) was 8am. My colleague had to leave at 7:15 so he left without food. "

"We stayed in the suite which was just perfect. Spacious with excellent furnishings. Idea for a longer stay for visiting Chester. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order along with cereals, pastries and fruit. Definitely recommend "
