"Arriving at the property was easy and welcoming. My friend and I showed up earlier than expected and they quickly accommodated our early arrival in stead of making is wait. You can tell the rooms have age but they are still in nice condition. Saturday night i to Sunday morning there was a large party of younger guest gathering between two rooms, drinking and having a very loud time waking us up and being very disrespectful of their noise level. "I loved the breakfast selection and the location. It was 3 blocks from metro. There is a Safeway across the street, it comes in handy.No bar on premises. Disappointed with unfriendly reception staff and almost non nonexisting housekeeping. We even mentioned as we left one day that our room was not cleaned the day before, so we thought for sure when we returned it would be done…wrong. Had to ask for toilet paper!!!!"

Comfortable Stay

"Our stay at the Washington Plaza Hotel was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was exceptional and priced fairly. It is an older DC hotel, but nicely maintained. On location is parking certainly worth the extra fee. The monuments and museums are within walking distance if you don't mind a little exercise. "
