"We had an overnighter at Sama Sama as part of a wider Malaysia trip. We needed a convenient airport hotel while in transit between Penang and Borneo and so pleased with picked thIs one. We arrived too late to use any of the facilities such as the outdoor pool but we were very pleased with our Premier room. The Premier lounge is fantastic with lovely food (sushi, canapes, salad, cheese) and a very generous drink service (beer, cocktails, wine). Unfortunately we left too early to enjoy breakfast but the buggy service was much appreciated to get us swiftly to Terminal 1. Would definitely book again if we return to KLIA in the future "

"Excellent hotel and quite affordable for this Filipino American traveler from Manila and San Francisco Bay Area. The best part was the Lemon Garden restaurant where we had breakfast everyday and also sampled their dinner. Both are buffets and offered amazing choices of Malay, Chinese, Indian, Japanese and European/Western cuisine. My favorite was the dessert section that offered fresh pastries and ube (yam), coconut and mango ice cream! The dining staff were very professional and friendly. Since we were there for 7 nights, the dining staff got to know us by our first names. Chef Scott has done an excellent job with the food and staff. Major thumbs up to Chef Scott, his chefs and to Daniel (hotel GM) and the Shangri-La hote staff! Our room was beautiful, comfortable, very clean and well kept by the housekeeping staff. It is an upscale hotel to which I would gladly return and stay at. Best paet was the Petronas Towers were a short 15 minute walk away, as are some restaurants. "

"I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Mandarin Oriental KL. I was traveling with my very chatty 8-year-old son and every single staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, patient, and kind. They made both of us feel completely at home and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The location is unbeatable, right next to Suria KLCC and the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. The view from our room was stunning, especially at night when the towers lit up. The food was fantastic, and the overall atmosphere was calm, elegant, and very family-friendly. Thank you so much to everyone at the Mandarin Oriental for making this trip so special. You created a beautiful memory for my son and me. "Hotel was well situated in Bukit Bintan area near shopping and restaurants. Able to walk to nearby shopping Centers and the night eating areas. Hotel was fantastic with a great bar for winding down in the evening and the facilities were well maintained."

"Beautifully presented hotel in the heart of KLCC, a couple of minutes walk to the towers/Suria KLCC. Very noisy, windows aren't double glazed and the fit out is a tad dated but huge rooms and space. Air con worked, strong wifi and easy walk to dining and other amenities. "
