"first and foremost, Max is absolutely the best! he’s helpful, responsive and kind. this is my 3rd time staying at Copal and Max has made each stay welcoming. Esmeralda at the front desk is also a pleasure. Claudio is amazing and helpful as well. Claudio is always so welcoming and kind no matter what. Claudio and Max are turtle the heart of this hotel and the reason I will continue to stay here. Unfortunately Johnny is not so pleasant and I would probably avoid him if necessary. There was a plumbing issue with my room and he was not very accommodating. He emphasized there would be a cost difference to change my room due to issues of the hotel, I found that very odd and compelling seeing that it wasn’t on my behalf. There also was no budging with this to be clear. It was quite upsetting seeing that I was in a room with a private pool and had to downgrade and was still being met with his nonchalant demeanor. "

The beach was excellent and always clean, rooms were kept and refreshed everyday impeccably. Would recommend the Preferred Club it’s an excellent value add on, they had great snacks and made us feel extra special. Love this place, looking forward to coming back!"

"This place was beyond luxurious. I would say, perfection. I can’t say enough about the kind and welcoming staff. They go out of the way to ensure your comforts are met. They pay incredible attention to details and treat you wonderfully. The property grounds are immaculate. The dining options are amazing, and the food was cooked perfectly. I wish we had stayed longer, there are endless things to do at the property. We stayed in the Ambassador Suite, we were offered a discounted upgrade on arrival from our original reserved Garden view pool suite. This room was out of this world amazing. We did also see the original room we had booked and it was incredible as well. You can access all places through a short walk through the amazing bridges in the mangroves. You can also access via the continuous golf cart type vehicles that are readily available and comfortable. The beaches are perfect, with plenty of in beach dining. The salt water pool was our favorite, you are able to swim with fish that filter in from the ocean. There was a butler available to us to provide us with what ever we needed. We couldn’t be more satisfied. We can not wait to go and stay with TRS Yucatan again!"
