"I'd booked the cheapest room, but still £100 per night. I was a small single. Shower / toilet room was really compact and desk wasn't fit for anything other than making tea (in fact the tea tray was fixed onto it taking half the space up). On the plus side, fixtures and fittings were new and clean, the hotel was well appointed and great central location. I just don't think that spec of room quite justified the price."

"Staff were friendly. Building was nice, but the room was not that comfortable. No fridge and the safe was broken. The worst thing was that the bed was a 6ft mattress but we only had a 5ft duvet, which didn’t cover two people in the bed. This meant we had a poor night’s sleep. "

"Easy checking in but only from 2pm to 6pm. Very comfy bed, warm room, tea and coffee facilities. Powerful shower. Handy location very close to train station. Pay and display car park behind pub however can only park from 2pm to 5am and then need to leave for an hr before return. Unfortunately room smelled of cigarette smoke. "The Ferry Boat is a lovely place to stay (the rooms were spacious, spotless and marvellously comfortable) with a welcoming bar and restaurant - we thoroughly enjoyed our stop over and would highly recommend it "

"Very friendly place, very busy in bar area but accommodation separate (& quiet 😊👍)… enjoyed looking round the bar area after breakfast next day, lots of interesting items/photos etc and nice to be away from the ‘corporate’ feel that most hotels seem to have these days. I’m sure we’ll be back."
