"My wife and I just came down for a little 3 day trip for our 7th wedding anniversary and we love Market Pavilion Hotel. This is our 2nd stay, besides the old elegance with all amenities you could ask for, including a great Restaurant upon entering the hotel lobby and the Pavilion poolside rooftop bar on the 6th floor, the location gives you easy walking to any restaurant of your choosing or nighttime entertainment. Great place and we'll be back!"

"Our room was pleasant and a good size. We got the impression it wasn’t used often because the tv didn’t work and the clock wasn’t set properly. After notifying the staff, the problems were fixed. The two chairs in the room were stained and should also be reupholstered with better batting/cushion. Wood furniture pieces were scraped and could use some polish to hide the rough edges. Great restaurant and excellent service from all staff. Great location. "

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
