What's great about a smaller place like this is if your plans change - its easier to add or subtract days from your stay without stupid charges. Staff was great, and when my credit card did not show me leaving a day early - one phone call and it was taken care of. I will continue to stay at the Lafayette - at least until I see a ghost - and yes - I look for them! "

"I have drive. By this property many times and dismissed it because it was small and just feared it was a roach motel. Boy was I wrong. I would chose to stay here over any other hotel In Buckhannon area. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back."

"Tiny hotel. Beautiful room. Had to wait 5 min for front desk staff- which is slightly annoying after long day in road. Clean and room is full of all utensils /plates etc which was convenient. Would stay again. "

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the lobby was locked at all times, requiring going outside and ringing the bell to get into the lobby for coffee in the morning. (Coffee was cold, by the way.)"
