"We really enjoyed our stay Host Scott was very informative and has very clear information. The house is very family friendly. We loved being able to use the fireplace. The hot tub was spectacular my wife usually never likes Hot Tubs but used this one twice. Kids loved the indoor basketball hoops and pac-man . My wife grew up with pac-man so she really loved it. "- House is well taken care of. - House rule not wearing shoes inside and providing sleepers keeps the house clean. We liked it, but should mention that on VRBO listing. (It is listed on the competitors listing among the other info) Also, be better if the closed in shoes cabinet is available to protect the shoes from the weather. - Would be better if the property manager sent check-in info at least a day earlier than the middle of the day of check-in."

"The house is very cozy. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. There are Roku TVs in the living room and bedroom. Nice backyard with a swing set if you have kids. There were bowls for pets in the downstairs closet. "

"This home was perfect for our family of four to use during our stay in Lynchburg. We had plenty of room at spread out, and our son’s dog loved exploring the backyard and walking in the neighborhood. It took us about 15 minutes to get to Williams Stadium to watch our son’s football game which was great. We would definitely recommend this property. "

"Perfect! I can't think of one negative thing about this place or the process. The rooms were plentiful and big. Extremely clean. The location was perfect for our needs. Also, a grocery store a few blocks away. We've stayed in plenty of places and this was by far one of our favorites. My adult daughter wished the house was hers! The owner was responsive and accommodating. Thank you."

"We were there for my son’s wedding at Glass Hill Venue, and it was perfect from the beginning to the end! Very good communication from the host, and my dog even felt at home! We will definitely stay there again as just a getaway!"

"We were in town for a wedding. The Cozy Cottage was the cutest and best equipped VRBO we've ever stayed in. It was clean, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and super serene, quiet and had great views. Would definitely stay there agai. The host was very responsive and helpful."

"Kitchen was well stocked, but bring extra trash bags. Only 2 hand towels provided. Extra Pillows available, but no pillow cases. We brought extra blankets, thankfully. While preparing Thanksgiving meal, lost electricity 3 times, 2 hours, 30 minutes, 20 minutes. Took some investigating to get updates on the power outages. Setting and outdoor amenities were great. Be prepared for the very steep driveway. "

"This is an excellent choice if you are visiting Smith Mountain Lake. The home was clean and well-maintained. We had a little issue with the lock-box to obtain the keys but the property manager answered my call on the first ring and helped me gain access. "My husband and I met our son who goes to school in NC at this cabin to celebrate Thanksgiving together. The cabin was perfect and the views were amazing. I was able to cook us a Thanksgiving dinner while my Husband and son enjoyed the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!"

"This was our second stay, with all the same expectations met in cleanliness and accommodations. Had one surprise when I let my dog out back, half the back fence was gone! Heads up for any pet owners, looks like owners might be transitioning backyard to parking spaces, which is fine since the front yard is fenced and works great as well. It was just a change from last stay and I was lucky my dog isn't a runner!"

"The house was great. We rented this ski in ski out for convenience with the kids being able to come and go. Because there was no snow, we had to drive to the lodge. This would have been a great location if this slope had been open. The owner was great and we would stay again."
