"Be careful about signing up for the basic room. It is beyond basic with no finishes, no refrigerator, metal furniture, not what I’d expect from Scandic. Fortunately I was able to pay to upgrade to a nicer room also without a refrigerator but the hotel very nicely sent one up to me. The hotel was supposed to have bicycles but they were out of order and they nicely made arrangements for me to walk to another Scandic (the Marriott of Scandinavia) and use a bike. "Unfortunately the check in staff were not familiar with gift vouchers. The hotel was booked via the internet. On arrival a voucher for the full amount of the stay was handed over as payment, however the lady in reception said that she could not accept this voucher as the hotel was not booked through their own website. "Good location, it’s opposite Arlanda express. Very near to major shopping area as well as the market food halls. Very friendly staffs and we enjoyed the complimentary mulled wine. "
