"What a wonderful place! We booked the cheapest room and stayed only 1 night but we absolutely loved it and wished we had stayed longer. Monkeys came to our balcony and we saw more monkeys and an iguana on the way to the beach (a 5 minute walk downhill). Great restaurant options in the area within walking distance. "The hotel was full of trees and plants and wildlife so nice. The food was good and the staff were excellent. The local bus could be caught nearby to the National Park or Quopos for under £1 and was frequent. Outside the hotel we saw sloth with baby and Tucans in the trees. Downside was that outside there were only occasionally places to walk down the road no footpaths so we chose restaurants close by during the day and taxi at night. "Fabulous location and beautiful grounds! Walking distance to excellent restaurants, grocery and right on prime area of the beach. Food is fantastic and all staff were all wonderful and helpful. Beware of the "standard garden rooms". They are right on road--no protection from street noise:( Bathrooms are dated, but rooms in general are comfortable. Good place to stay."

"Best resort stay of my life! The staff are wonderful people, that’s are patient and very attentive. The spa was devine and they even accommodated my pregnancy with a prenatal message. "Our stay at Casita Sollevente was incredible, the accommodation was very clean, a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean, had two out door pools that were great for relaxing in. The complete staff treated us very well throughout our stay. The food and drinks are very good. The short drive down the hill into Montezuma is easy, though you certainly want a car as it is a steady incline from the town up to the resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"So we had a terrible occurrence, Due to NO control, and natural flooding in fort lauderdale , all our fights were canceled and couldn't make the trip. We had their JACO tour agent ask if we can get credit for the night we lost if we can make it there and if we can get the difference back from the 12 people that were NOT able to attend . AND the owner SAID NO. We wish we could have seen the property but working with the owner wasnt helpful at all"

"It was okay - neighbourhood is gross (like a lot of cities and towns in Costa Rica) it’s filthy with garbage everywhere, broken sidewalks, stray dogs, etc. not really anywhere to eat except little roadside stands. But the hotel itself was good, very clean. Okay for a night if you’re just passing through."

Perfect location and views!

"First of all the location and the views of this was awesome! Out of the hotel and you’re in the national park. The views from your balcony of the ocean sunset or just a spectacular as any sunset restaurant you would go to. The service was great the animals on the property like monkeys on our balcony survived and others were able to see even before going to the park. The pool was refreshing and the breakfast was adequate choices. The only downside is that since these are containers, they noise travels and the walls are paper thin! There is a steep hill to climb, but they also have golf courts to take you up. They are quick to respond to you on WhatsApp. It’s a good solud three + star hotel"
