"If you are looking for a spectacular view and privacy, this is your place. We've been vacationing for 30 years and this was the best view we've ever had. It's very private as well. The dipping pool is awesome but if you rent the Casita you can't swim in the regular pool at the adjacent house. The bed was comfy and the bath fine. The kitchen is outside and that makes it interesting but we did fine with it. Birds weren't that plentiful but plenty of lizards and hearing the howler monkeys barking...

We just spent a lot of time getting rid of little critters and bugs. The host gave a very well detailed message the day we booked this VRBO about the property, which made checking in and finding the house easy. "This place was great. Extremely close to the cloud forest reserve. The property manager went above and beyond. We got a home made breakfast brought to us every morning that was delicious. She arranged adventures for us to partake in nearby and followed up when a shuttle didn't arrive as previously scheduled. We had a wonderful experience at this property and highly recommend booking with Christina and supporting a Costa Rican if you are visiting Monteverde!!! You won't be disappointed."
