"We booked this home as it is posted as being in very close proximity to the Great Sand Dunes. While the VRBO posting indicates the home is 4 minutes from the park, it is actually over an hour drive. We did have a fantastic time. The property was beautiful and clean with the exception of fruit and house flies in the main living area. I would recommend it as a great get away relatively close to the national park but be sure to plan accordingly."

"We stayed 2 nights to go to The Great Sand Dunes and hike around the area. It’s about an hour drive to the main entrance of Great Sand Dunes. The home was very clean! We were very pleased with the inside, the kitchen was big and shad everything we needed and it had a nice grill as well! The only negative thing we have to say is that the mosquitos in the area are very bad this time of year! They swarmed us right when we got out of the car but the locals said they were even worse the week before...

"We came to hike and visit the sand dunes but the weather didn’t cooperate so we spent a lot of time at the property soaking in the hot tub, relaxing, and just enjoying life. Everything we needed was there, plus extras. Great place in an interesting area. "

"This property is FANTASTIC! Mountain views from every window, showers and giant soaking tubs in both bathrooms in the main house, and 2 additional bedrooms plus a full bathroom in the adjacent studio. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. The property manager was great to work with and very prompt when I did something stupid and needed her help.
