Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Check in and check out was very helpful. Front desk staff helped with directions. Hotel was very clean. Our room was large. It was too warm in the room despite it being cold outside. We had to open the window and also turn on the AC. Very good breakfast. We stayed overnight after driving to the Great Sand Dunes.

The hotel needs some renovations, everything looks very old. The breakfast is basic, not a great variety and the food temperature wasn’t adequate. Is well located to visit the Great Sand Dunes and nearby areas but is overpriced.

This hotel was just okay. I would not return. It was noisy (the sound carries from the floors above pretty significantly); the hot tub wasn’t working and neither was our tv. Additionally, the floors were rather dirty. I will say the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good.

I checked into the hotel late at night. Noticed that the window to the room was broken and the toilet was making a running noise. When using the bathroom it kept overflowing. We tried calling the front desk but the phones were disconnected. We went to the front desk to let them know if they could have someone come to our room to fix the toilet. The front desk manager brought a woman from house keeping and they said they will not be able to fix it. We asked if we could be switched to another room again the said they couldn’t. We asked what we were supposed to do since we paid for a room that had a working toilet. The manager pointed down the hallway and said we could use the public restroom. At that point we felt outraged to their lack of assistance. We called customer support but they were unable to reach the hotel so the matter was dropped and we left the property and checked into another hotel.
