"I stay with my son on 2/21/25, the lady at the front desk was very professional (couldn’t get her name unfortunately) she explain everything on the contract, she even came to show me the room, and told me what is around the area. "Viva Palace is beside Viva Beach hotel so that you can walk the charming treed walkway between the two properties. Both sites have nightly entertainment - singers, dancing and theatre from 8 to midnight with s disco after hours. International clientele and lots of young families. All sorts of shaded and sunny beach sites. Finally beach is located in a calm bay so lots of ppl in the water all day long. "

"Great place to Spend a few nights and explore Dominicus and nearby Bayahibe towns. Close to plenty of dining and shopping options and short 10 min walk to the beautiful beach! Good breakfast and coffee at a reasonable price. Small pool nice for refreshing dip. (Lounge chairs would be a nice addition). "

"This was our 4th time in viva Windham, first 3 times was in viva palace, was excellent. This time, January 2025 was in viva Beach. Ocean front bungalow. Overall we enjoyed as always, the resort was under stuff, dining was challenge, dining tables not cleaned after guests left, we removed the left over plates and clean the table ourselves before we can seat, because there was no clean tables. "The food was good, not exceptional , same almost daily. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The front desk was excellent and very helpful. "

"We went to the room given to us and started to settle in but then noticed that the latch to lock the patio door did not work which we did not like. We went down and complained to the desk attendant and she very quickly and happily got us into a different room. So it was a hassle but with acceptable conclusion."

"Beautiful apartment within walking distance of the public beach and many fabulous restaurants right on the water. Perfect place to watch the sunset over the marina. Our host was very attentive and the apartment was equipped with everything you could need for a great beach vacation. We did rent a car so that we could explore the area. Thank you!!!!!!!"

We were happy with most of the food options (would not recommend the rib eye at The Grill, it was thin, dry and hard to eat). "Although the rooms are slightly dated, the property is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Outstanding staff were Captain Juan Adolfo Flopentine, Marien De Leon Paulpno and Pedro Arpsmendy , both of the tropical pool side bar (at the quiet pool). There are 2 pools. One called the quiet pool and one the loud pool. At the loud pool there are games and music all day. THE of the best tips that I can give is one given to me at the desk while trying to make dinner reservations. They will only give you 3 dinner reservations at their restaurants. I was told that the restaurants open at 6 PM. You can go to the restaurant at 6 PM and tell them that you have no reservation, but could they please seat you. It worked every single time and we had gourmet food at every restaurant every single night. Enjoy. "
