"Beautiful beach. The room was spacious but towels in room were old and there were no facecloths. The air conditioner leaked, but they sent someone to fix it right away. The staff were courteous and friendly. There was a very relaxing vibe. Buffet had a variety of food to choose from for all 3 meals. A La carte Mexican Restaurant was very good. "

"The property and the outdoor areas were absolutely beautiful — from the well-maintained pools, gardens, and walkways to the inviting bars, restaurants, and seating areas. "This was our first time at this resort. The service of the staff was top notch! The food was just alright, nothing special, but not bad either. We did have poor water temperatures for showers, rarely was it more than tepid... The beach and swim up pool were great ways to spend the day. Nightly entertainment was enjoyable. "We went to the room given to us and started to settle in but then noticed that the latch to lock the patio door did not work which we did not like. We went down and complained to the desk attendant and she very quickly and happily got us into a different room. So it was a hassle but with acceptable conclusion."

"Beautiful resort with nice & friendly staff members. Room was always cleaned and restocked. Shade huts at beach are normally taken by 6:30am & Buffett food is good, just gets boring if you forget to make dinner reservations. If you like a laidback, relaxing resort then book! "

"This was our 4th time in viva Windham, first 3 times was in viva palace, was excellent. This time, January 2025 was in viva Beach. Ocean front bungalow. "Viva Palace is beside Viva Beach hotel so that you can walk the charming treed walkway between the two properties. "The Playa Nueva Romana is excellent in every respect. The host, Linette, was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the stay. I commend her good communication skills and though fullness. Dreams Dominicus La Romana - All Inclusive

Wow

"The grounds of this resort are stunning. Cleanliness, pools, beach, gym, buffet restaurant and overall service were incredible. The beach/ocean has to be the cleanest and best in Dominican. During the second half of the week the resort was at capacity (during QC and U.S. university/college spring break) and in no way felt congested. The family suites are on the opposite side of the road from the main resort. This at first was a surprise, but turned out to be a very pleasant one as it was so peaceful there at night and had a great view over the resort in the evening light hours. Overall travel to resort took about 45 mins but was worth the extra 20 mins compared to Punta Cana resorts. Main pool bar staff Marcelo and Claudio were very nice and also good with kids. Gustavo was assigned as our “butler”. Nothing is too much for him. We were amazed at his willingness to make our trip the best it could possibly be as well as his contagious positivity and his presence. This extra effort made a great week an amazing one."

"The staff are amazing at this resort! We especially loved our wait/kitchen staff Wilton’s, Maria, Yueri, Emmanuel, Daniel, Kerley, Nathaniel, and Marcus. Our wonderful entertainment team, specifically Genna and Alfred. The resort is beautiful and there are staff cleaning 24/7 all anround the resort. Everything is easily accessible and there are beautiful views no matter where you explore on the resort. The food and drinks were amazing, and each bar was adequately staffed. Each meal served provided a huge variety of foods, and highlighted many different cultures. The Al carte meals were incredible!!! The entertainment team had different activities and performances each night. We have enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future! ❤️ "
