Check out time is 9am so if we were to return, I think it would have to be for a minimum of two nights as 9am is pretty early so we didn’t even have time for breakfast before we had to clean up and check out. "A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done. "Lovely stay. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Vicky was always on hand when needed and communication was great - super quick! Loved coming outside to the chickens and seeing the horses when we arrived. We had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend/return!"

Grand traditional comfortable hotel

"Georgian grand hotel. Hotel has done well to preserve the grand features. This is one for those who like character to a building. Staff were excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in with loads of old style leather oxblood sofas and chairs throughout- so comfortable after dinner drinking. Food was lovely. Only requests would be for fresh juices at breakfast rather than concentrate/ squash and a scrambled egg option. Very nice stay - will return. "
