"We’ve stayed here a few times over the years and it never disappoints and the staff are so welcoming, they are a credit to the hotel. It was a flying visit sadly, hopefully next time we can stay longer. We were upgraded on arrival which was a lovely surprise. "

"This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. I would particularly applaud receptionists. Only slight negative would be dinner. Placed at a table which wasn’t set properly and had to pinch cutlery from an adjoining table. Even when the waitress came to take our order she didn’t notice! But overall we lived our stay. Room was very well equipped, quiet and very comfortable."

Recommend as a place to stay or just to dine. Menu good with gluten free options. Surpassed expectations and would visit again. Hidden gem of a hotel. Thank you for a lovely weekend. "
