"This hotel was an excellent find—away from the throngs of tourists (with the sites just a short walk away) and it was such a comforting place to come home to. The inner courtyard and back garden are beautiful and quiet and unique in this city. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts were fantastic. Our room was very large and clean and quiet—with lovely views."

"Hotel is in a hidden area and very rustic. Receptionist was friendly but the room was smoky. It does have an elevator which is huge! Dog outside in neighboring building barked ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT Until after 10pm. Just prepare yourself. My wife complained about the bed being too hard. I thought the shower in the tub was slippery and a bit dangerous with no mat, but does have astool you can put in. "

"Typical hotel you find in Venice, old rooms but bathroom was updated and modern. Overall the room and hotel was very clean, and in a good location. Would recommend. Only downside is we booked a triple room with 3 single beds, but one bed was a rollaway one (not expected, according to the description) but not a big deal for us. "

"The room wasn’t in the hotel’s main building, but it was located in a charming, historic structure. It was clean, spacious, and the staff were wonderful. The bed was decent, though not very comfortable—it was a memory foam mattress that felt a bit uneven. Despite that, it was an excellent stay overall."
