We loved staying outside of the crazy crowded part of Rome and enjoyed local restaurants and shopping. "We had a lovely stay at this property. The owner was flexible with our arrival times and greeted us on our way in with some tips for navigating the area. The area across the road is a little run down looking, but we never felt unsafe. The house was beautiful, with a nice little patio to sit on in the mornings.
