"We had a fabulous time here. The property is excellent, check in a breeze, location idyllic and hosts fantastic.We really had a great relaxing time. The home is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We used the slow cooker which I wasn't expecting them to have. A great stock of board games too. It is truly a home away from home. Hot tub was brilliant, my daughter loved it. We will definitely be back but for longer. "

"We spent a family Christmas of 14 including children and dogs at Pentrehobyn Hall this year, canā€™t find a single fault with the whole stay.The wow factor 11/10.The facilities 10/10, there was even a variety of cooking spices in the kitchen, tea & coffee etc. Totally home from home.Bedrooms 10/10, spotless- lovely crisp white bed linen, comfy beds, gorgeous fluffy towels and designer toiletries in the bathrooms. "We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

"A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Bala in North Wales for its facilities and location. "

"Fantastic location next to the canal enjoyed watching boats going past. Nice walks around and other places nearby. Only thing wrong with the discrimination of the property is it says it has a hot tub but it has a bath inside the house and no hot tub outside. We still enjoyed our visit "

"This is a great place to go chill for a while, with many fun areas to hang out. They have it stocked with games of all types. Itā€™s also located within an easy drive to many wonderful sightseeing areasā€”Snowdonia, Conwy, Chester are all within an hour. The host was very responsive and friendly. Would love to go back. "

"Beautifu, well-finished place to stay. Nice and cosy! We stayed at the start of December and the Christmas tree was up, a lovely little touch. Really clean and really homely. The underfloor heating was amazing, a really lovely temperature throughout the whole place. Hot tub was great and nicely secluded. There were enough kitchen utensils/pans/cooking dishes to be able to cook full meals with, which was great. "

"A unique property, set in acres of rolling Welsh country side. The lodge is absolutely stunning, the owners have thought of everything from bathrobes and slippers to a lovely welcoming hamper. It is immaculate, spotlessly clean, i really couldnt fault our stay, and we stay away regularly. The owners are on hand if you need anything at all, but they really have gone over and above and provided everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend, we didnt want to come home!"

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weatherā€”no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So itā€™s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

"Itā€™s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."
