She had the taxi that was originally scheduled for 2350 moved up to meet us at 0900, she met us at the apartment, and sat with us to go over some of the best attractions and places to eat. "We were really looking forward to our stay in Palermo, but things took a turn for the worse about 10 minutes before we were supposed to check in. We received a message saying the apartment wouldn’t be ready until 5:30 PM. You know, because nothing says “relaxing vacation” like being stranded with luggage and nowhere to go! "The place is clean BUT, all the necessities that you needed is not provided, no soap, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towel etc. Pool is close at 8pm, what the heck your on vacation and after a long day outside you want to relax on the pool but it is close. And one more thing no air conditioning, you have to pay 5euro/day. All of these should have provided with no extra cost. "

"The property was in a great location for walking to everything in Palermo we wanted to see. We appreciated the additional suggestions by Wonderful Italy of things to see and do in the city. While A/C was advertised, we never received the remotes to turn it on. Thankfully, the windows had screens so we were able to open them for better air-flow."

"We had a wonderful stay at Riva Sea apartments. We went in May and it was so quiet, we had the pool to ourselves most of the time! The play area was wonderful for our 2 children aged 3 and 6 and we enjoyed lots of strolls to the beach close by. We also ate in the local area most nights, there aren’t that many but we still had fantastic meals every time. Giulio and Eliana were very helpful during our stay, both lovely people :) "

"Rosalia and her daughter were there at check in to great us and review the apartment. Very lovely people. The kitchen was nicely stocked, which made settling in easier. The neighborhood is next to the Norman Palace and the main tourist street. It took us 15 minutes to walk from the train station. It is on the noisy side and not in the cleanest part of town. Thankfully there was a nice fan that we kept on at night for comfort and dull the courtyard and street noise. A/C in bedroom. No tp allowed...
