"This place was perfectly located in the heart of Palermo, just steps away from the hop-on-hop-off bus tour. The balcony was a highlight, offering a lovely spot to take in the city’s vibrant energy. Bonus: there’s a designated smoking area on the balcony. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"The property had a style befitting the coastal area of Palermo, was very comfortable and accomodating, and had friendly staff. Being so close to a walking friendly area and the coast made it easy tl explore and enjoy our time there to the fullest."

"Friendly, relaxed stay for 3 nights. Staff were just lovely, couldn't be more helpful. Clean, large room with a view out over the street, but still quiet. It was a little bit out of the main town, about a 25 minute walk to the train station, but there is an airport bus stop just a 5 minute walk away, and all the sights are walkable - Palermo isn't a large city. Breakfast was usual Italian fare, plenty to start the day, and great strong coffee to wake you up! Great choice of restaurants and bars...

"The hotel had a spacious clean warm room with a fridge, a small table and chairs too. Also a big shower room and toilet. We loved it. Also we were picked up at the airport after dropping off the hire car, and taken back to departures at 4.00 am the next morning. How wonderful. I hope to go back"

"The design and interior was lovely. The place was a little dusty and was disappointed that i couldn't open the balcony shutters as it was locked with a chain. There was also some mildew in the shower. I also asked for an extra blanket because I was cold and didn't want to sleep with the heating on to avoid getting sick, but I didn't get a response back or a blanket"

"Amazing experience! We’ve never had such a welcoming, warm welcome. The apartment is in the heart of this charming historic town. We got lucky to be there during the 3 day celebration of the Crucifix with the whole town out celebrating. Apartment is very big and has absolutely everything. Hope to come back "

"The street around it is small but we were fine with it after a day or two or using it very small two lane rd. That was the only bad thing about it everything else was perfect. Easy to het around great area amd close to modello beach"

"We stayed here in the middle of September. The villa has three spacious double bedrooms, two ensuite and a kitchen/dining room which has everything we needed. The highlight though is the outisde, the pool is a very good size and the garden itself is lovely with a vareity of attractive trees providing plenty of shade. " We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel et Des Palmes in Palermo for two weeks in January 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. One business owner in a boutique I shopped at told me she got married 30 years ago in the hotel. Amazing place"
