"Lovely old farm house, like a museum. We stayed in the garden room. It was average could do with a face lift. Blinds were tatty need replacing. Large walk in showers, cold no heating in the bathroom. Small toilet, small squashed in sink. Wood door leading of bathroom, locked, had lots of furniture scraping noise early morning and late evening by the staff, we think. Garden outside our door was full of weeds and very unattractive. "It’s a good 3 star hotel with lovely staff. With an injection of cash and more staff training (plenty available but lacking attention to detail) it could become a really good 4 star. The big let down was the poor shower and dated bathroom. But it’s one of those hotels that you just want to to do better "

"The hotel staff member, by the name of Anja was rude to me at check-out when I wanted to settle my bill. I simply asked her to check if my room rate was settled or not, as I was not sure if I had paid for the room rate before arrival or not.
