The house was incredibly comfortable and stocked with everything we could possibly need. We were less than 5 minutes from the park entry and enjoyed it tremendously. So beautiful! And I need to mention the views from the back porch were also stunning! We hit a bump in our trip when hurricane force winds and a severe dust storm...

"We loved our stay - unprecidented views of the canyon. We even saw the rare Barbary sheep from the deck, and the herd of longhorns of all ages on the road to the house. The house is great, and the merchantile down the road is great to drop in for a quick bite or for things you may have forgot. Loved it and plan to come back!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideout! This cabin was a perfect spot for our family of 3 on our long weekend trip to Palo Duro Canyon! The extra amenities like bath bombs, makeup wipes, even fresh eggs in the fridge were an awesome cherry on top of this stay! The location was so convenient for getting into the state park and also so nice to have the Sad Monkey just up the road for a casual lunch or dinner! We’ll definitely be back here again!"
