" We have stayed at the Carlisle Inn at Sugarcreek several times, and have always had a wonderful experience. The front desk is so welcoming, and every staff member you meet is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are always spotless! The Inn has beautiful and comfortable Amish made beds. Complimentary cookies, popcorn, coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available in the dining area every evening, and each morning you are treated to a breakfast buffet. the restaurant and bakery next door has delicious Amish meals. And not to miss is the gift shop and the Ohio Star Theater across the parking lot. We saw a Collin Raye show last night that was absolutely awesome. So nice to just walk across the parking lot and head into the Inn. We will definitely be returning!"

"The only negative comment is this: my boyfriend is disabled. We were in the middle of packing and dressing to depart the hotel. Checkout is 11am. At 11:03 the housekeeper knocked to inquired "how much more time do you think you're going to need?" I have never had anyone ever come to the door while the do not disturb sign was placed on the door. I thought it was rude and unnecessary. We were in town visiting friends and family. The pool and hot tub were a welcomed treat. The hot breakfast bar got our days stated on the right foot. The room was large,clean and comfortable. "
