"Staff in reception not as friendly as in the past. Rooms and beds is fine. Breakfast is not so good anymore."

"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

It was surrounded by extensive grounds and had excellent views over Oviedo. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was of a very high standard. Highly recommended. "

"This a splendid hotel in the mountains with a spectacular view. The ideal retreat for those who want get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The indoor pool spa and outdoor pool are superb. I only wished that that there was open access to the indoor pool spa and the restaurant did not need reservations. "The hotel was run down and in need of a remake. But it’s poorly built from the start, the painting had not been done under the curtains and the general finish was as if they had run out of money before the building works completion. Our bath had a algae sealant around it, as did the shower.
