"We enjoyed our stay in the stately yellow house by the beach. We appreciated the big water container made ready for our use upon arrival. We were impressed with all the built-ins and the sturdiness of the house. The ACs were efficient and each person could set their optimum temperatures in their bedroom. The beach and the water were wonderful. We highly recommend."

"There were 10 of us that stayed on the property. The location is amazing. The boys all loved their surf lessons with Cali he was out in front of the house daily. There’s a spot up the beach you can rent boogie boards or book a fishing excursion. The property manager helped arrange our trip to the monkey mangrove tour (a must do)and set up our zip lining trip. The hike up to El Miro was incredible. This was an amazing trip! Pablo and Marta are amazing staff that are on site daily. Thank you Jen...

"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

Color Papaya or Peach is perfecto for Casa Barracuda, as it faces it the ocean!

"The outdoor area was beautiful and the pool was the highlight of the property. The property manager was amazing and provided great recommendations for things to do on our trip. He was extremely helpful. The house itself was fine although the stovetop burners were difficult to work with so cooking was challenging. Overall we enjoyed our time there."

"Our family of 10 (3 generations) thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Playa Hermosa. The pool was ideal for all ages, and we took full advantage of the excellent food/drinks at the swim-up bar. "We loved your home. It had all of the amenities we wanted -- 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a beautiful deck with incredible ocean views and a pool! We were very close to the wonderful Playa Blanca, which we spent every day at. My college-age children loved it and so did my wife and I. We ended every day with a movie on the living room's large screen tv. Olga was available whenever we had a question. We highly recommend this house!"

"Favorite place we’ve stayed in the region up to this point. Owners on site very helpful.. spectacular view real cute and cozy. Well laid out, great instructions really really liked the kitchen set up. The owner was very helpful in sharing with us. All the local must see less and she was spot on every time. Can’t wait till our next trip will definitely book at this exact same location again.. that’s the ultimate recommendation is saying that I will back it up with staying there again."

"It was okay - neighbourhood is gross (like a lot of cities and towns in Costa Rica) it’s filthy with garbage everywhere, broken sidewalks, stray dogs, etc. not really anywhere to eat except little roadside stands. But the hotel itself was good, very clean. Okay for a night if you’re just passing through."
