"Absolutely the best All-Inclusive resort in Madeira. Dreams is a recently re-branded hotel resort complex covering a vast area from the beach all the up through a mini village. With a variety of rooms, and services on offer including restaurants, cafes and pools. Staff are incredible, always happy to help and seem very happy to work there with the exception of the World Cafe. We noticed over a period of the 3 nights we were staying there that there was a little battle going on with the local Madeiran staff and non local staff which to be honest is ugly and unacceptable. This happened to one of the cooks on station, he was shouted at by another cook which wasn't very nice. We also noticed this was done in front of guests which isn't very professional and we tried raising this with reception however, we were told to make any complaints through their website!! I informed the receptionist it wasn't a complaint but an observation but was ignored. Moving on, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything except the world cafe staff was just as expected from a Hyatt brand. I understand the hotel is opening in phases but would suggest more entertainment in the evening. Food was exceptional Staff were professional (mostly) Facilities that were open were great Getting around, very easy Internet, very fast Using the App to reserve restaurants, activities, great idea Free minibar in the room "

"A wonderful end to my time in Madeira. The hotel was stunning and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. My room was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed out of all my various trips - extremely clean, well ventilated, warm and cosy and as someone who is passionate about interior styling, I really appreciated the minimalist design. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was good and the close proximity to local restaurants and shops was a bonus too. Already dreaming about my next stay here 😍"

"This hotel was in a great position to walk into Funchal old town either along the promenade or down the many side streets. There is also a lovely park nearby with cafes. We got the Aerobus from the airport which drops you off within a 2 min walk (stop number 10) 6 euros. The breakfast every morning was amazing, continental,full english,cereals,fruit,pastries even smoked salmon on some days. There are 2 available swimming pools. One is a short walk over a bridge and down by the sea. The smaller one is in the garden which we used every day. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and tidy and very quiet."

"The hotel is above a shopping centre without any grounds around the hotel, however, it is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the old town. All the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The bedroom was sleek and modern with an ‘open plan’ shower/wash area. The beds were very comfortable with 3 different pillows varying from soft to firm. There are no views other than from the rooftop swimming pool and bar area but this didn’t significantly detract from the stay as we were out most of the time. The breakfast buffet was excellent with good quality ingredients and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were also amused by the mobile robot which took the dirty dishes back to the kitchen. Overall the hotel lives up to it’s 5 star billing, is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend a stay at the Vine the next time you are in Funchal."

"It was a nice quite property with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has its own shuttle service that can take you to Funchal but also across the street is public bus that is more frequent. Close by is also a swimming area as well as snorkeling equipment rental that you could get to jump in the ocean. The property has nice clean pools, sauna, spa and hammam which we really enjoy. "
