"Super friendly lady at Reception check in.Helpful clear explanation of facilities. The hotel spotless A bit of wear tear on room drapes and bed base but Spacious room and bathroom good shower and superb balcony views.Small dining room meant 7.30 breakfast was crowded but by 8am empty.Buffet was adequate great scram egg and typical portuguese cakes fruit etc. Pool terrace was perfect ,views overlooking hills and sea (small sauna cabin looked great did not try) The pool bar restricted hours.Oddly...

"The complex had everything we needed. Spacious and clean apartment with an amazing view over Funchal and the sea, with a nice size balcony and outdoors seating. The downside was the road in-between the accommodation and the facilities. It was quiet late at night although the traffic in the morning with all the tourist vehicles coming up the hill was rather noisy. We live in a village, so noticed it. "What an amazong stay. Obviously the views were stunning, but on top of the view the included amenities for the price, you cant beat it. Breakfast was inlcuded and made on the spot. I stayed during off season, late November. I felt like I had thr place to myself. I love that every room includes a view. I just wish I had more time. "
