"Our time at this resort was absolutely amazing! We were a little worried because of the mixed reviews but we had a great time. Some reviews said that the food was horrible, but keep in mind you are booking a fairly cheap all inclusive resort so you can't expect Michelin star dining. As not food critiques, we thought the food was great! We were worried because we saw in reviews that the all inclusive package doesn't actually include ALL food and drinks, however, everything is very well labelled on menus so you know what is included. The staff also always mentioned what was included in the all inclusive. The buffet is completely included, and the other two restaurants that you have to reserve state on their menus what you can order. Reviews said that only pre-mixed cocktails were included, but the list of drinks available was very extensive. I have put a photo of the all inclusive drink list on this review. The staff was super nice, the room was clean and we had booked a double bed, but it was huge, more like the size of a California king. There was entertainment every night and daily activities that were free to participate in. The saunas in the spa are also free to use, but booking a massage is extra. We took a Bolt to and from the airport and it was only 40 euros each way. All the beach chairs on the resort are free to use, but the ones on the beach cost 2 euros for a whole day to book (we didn't feel a need to do this). "

"The house was new and very clean. Garden around the house was lovely. Sunset views were amazing. Jorge was nice and very responsive. We had issue with unpleasant smell in bathrooms on rainy and windy days ( due to air pressure). Parking was not next to the house and sometimes unavailable so we had to park on a street below. "

"The house is located in a small charming fishing village. The view of the ocean below is spectacular! We went with another couple for 8 nights and the home was very comfortable. We would highly recommend it!"

"Great property to get away and properly relax. Little shop at top of steep hill was perfect to get essentials to make your own or have drinks by the cottage. Drinks/ food limited otherwise by pool and need to be requested at reception. The adjoining restaurant was fantastic so highly recommend booking. There was wine tasting available on certain days but didn’t suit or travel plans. Their Madeira wine was delicious. Great location to branch out to different areas around this side of island. "

"We got off to a slightly rocky start, finding out only a couple of hours prior to checking in that the house was double booked. Not what we wanted to hear after 2 days of flying to get to Madeira! While this was disappointing, the owner did apologize profusely and respond quickly, accepting that this was a mistake at her end and booking us into a really nice local hotel for the first night. The next day, the move-in went smoothly. We were so glad to unpack our bags and relax. The house is beautiful, with a great view over the Atlantic. The pool is the ICING on the cake- long enough to swim lengths, private and heated if you need it (for a small upcharge. ) The house is very well kept up and very clean. It is also equipped with almost anything you could need, and feels like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again. Only a couple of small points: there is no air conditioning- which was not a big problem for us, as it was October and nights were a little cooler, but in hotter weather, some might find it a little warm in the house. There are fans in most rooms. There are roller shutters, but no screen doors, so leaving all the doors open to let in a breeze can lead to a few geckos and mosquitos getting into the house… but not a big deal as we were outside on the deck by the pool most of the time. "
