"A beautiful house with all the amenities that you would need for your stay and then some. Magnificent views of the sunset from the terrace. The property manager Johnny went out of his way to help us in any need that we had. We only should have paid more attention to the fact that the garage is for small cars. Our rental (Dacia Duster) fit very tight. A great experience that included three hikes with incredible views. "

"Socalco definitely surprised me. A place that is a bit harder to get to but it’s well worth it. The best part of the hotel is the fact that it’s also a mini-winery where they grow the grapes that makes the two local wines they offer. Breakfast is excellent with a samples of a lot of different things like cheese and deli plate, sour dough bread and eggs my way. Dinner options is also great with a selection of 3/4/6 course meal. Given Octavio Frietas is a Michelin star chef, his menu at Razao is equally as good. The farm to table concept is excellent and offer a lot of fresh ingredients. My all time favourite is the sour dough bread where you just can’t stop eating it. Only thing is that the area is hilly and finding parking close to the hotel may be difficult if you happen to get there on a night where there are a lot of restaurant goers. "

"Our hotel was simply amazing! The view from our balcony was stunning and enjoying the sunset from the hotel is really special. We loved the spa and the staff there are wonderful. Also a shout out for the yoga teacher, it was a treat to do yoga outside under the sun looking out to sea."

"Exactly as represented. Vitor assisted getting us settled and with his knowledge of local feasts and happenings. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need while staying there. Clean and quiet. Vitor assisted us with baggage to and from the rental. Three minute walk uphill from the street parking, as noted in their VRBO ad. Would stay here again "

"Best holiday villa we have ever stayed in! The villa was so spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The view from the villa’s infinity swimming pool was truly stunning! We received a very warm welcome from Jorge on our arrival to the villa. Jorge was extremely helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and places of interest to visit on the beautiful island of Madeira. The villa is only a 5 minute drive from Calheta beach and marina. We were spoiled for choice! Thank you for a wonderful holiday "
