"We had a fantastic stay with Maria. The rustic property was in a cute, quiet, and private location with an amazing view of the ocean. Easy parking was available below the church, which was a 5-minute walk away from the property. The garden and view were highlights of the property that we will always remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to anyone wanting to visit Madeira."

"Our stay was severely impacted by serious issues not reflected in the listing. Most critically, water leaked from the ceiling and walls, resulting in visible mold and soaked furniture and clothes. Great position overlooking the ocean.The pool is a good size & depth (not for children), but rather cool even when heated - (in the winter months anyway.)Needs a few more basic kitchen bits,especially if you intend to cook. i.e chopping boards, sharp knives, plastic bowls etc.Definitely need a car or you will need to use taxis each day to get around, and go to the supermarket.You can walk down the hill to the village (approx 30 mins) where there are a few bars and a small grocer...
