"The hotel location is the best, right next to the entrance to the Pyramids of Giza. It is best to get a pyramid view room with balcony. We were able to see the pyramids and the sphinx while sitting on our bed or at the balcony. The breakfast area is on roof top and has the best views of the pyramids too. The outside area near the hotel is dirty and full of trash. But for the location and pyramids views, i receoomend staying at this hotel."

"The City View Hotel was a safe and convenient place to stay while I was in Cairo. It is centrally located. The food, I thought was mediocre. There were a lot of packaged items for breakfast and the restaurant served meals that were adequate but the quality wasn’t that great. I think if the hotel wanted to improve it should revamp the entire kitchen in terms of what is available for breakfast and the quality of their food, in comparison to better restaurants and types of cooking.
