"The staff were fantastic! They phoned a week before we were due to stay to let us know the main lift had broken. I’m disabled and cannot manage stairs. They offered a solution of using their service lift, where a member of staff would be on hand to escort us to the lift and open it for us. They gave me the dimensions of the lift to make sure it was big enough for my scooter. This solution worked perfectly :) every time :) Our accessible room was huge!!! I could do donuts on my scooter if I has so chosen :) The bathroom was fantastic, with a plastic wheeled chair for the wet room, as well as a fold down stool. There were grab rails everywhere; it was better than my bathroom at home! I can highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely be staying there in the future. "

"Hotel location was perfect! So close to the shops, multiple cafes, great restaurants, and Chester Cathedral. The staff was helpful, cheerful. The rooms perfect as was the view. "

"The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were given free coffee and biscuits while the lady checked that our room was ready,which it was. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was self serve and lovely. There was full English, cereals, fruits and seeds,yoghurts, croissants and pastries and various breads. Jams,honey and Nutella were available for the toast. It's a very quiet and peaceful location. We would definitely stay here again. Just across the canal was a great canal waterways and boats museum. Well worth a visit. "
