"This was a great place to getaway and decompress. The owner was friendly and communicative. The property was as in the condition it was described. We had a great time and our morning routine of walking across the road to enjoy our coffee while looking out over the lake was thoroughly enjoyable. We would stay here again."

"The Ham Fam Lakehouse was lovely, well appointed, comfortable, and the lake view was fabulous! We enjoyed the gas fireplace on chill mornings, and the sunset view in the evenings. The lake was easily accessible and we enjoyed walking the driftwood strewn beach. We had a few minor concerns the first days, but they were immediately addressed and remedied by the management team. Great job! We thoroughly enjoyed our eight-day stay! We would definitely return another time. "

"Perfect house for a fall family weekend!"

Enjoy peace and serenity of the Adirondacks at Cascade Mountain Chalet.

" We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Chalet! Wilmington was a perfect location to explore from and it was close to both Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and the drive up to Whitehead Mountain (it snowed while we were up there!). We also drove down to Fort Ticondaroga and would highly recommend that as a side trip if you have the time. The house was smallish but efficient, and was exactly as listed/pictured. The beds were comfy and we appreciated the little touches like hand soap, TP, paper...

"Our group of five couples get together every October for a weekend Adirondack getaway. We were fortunate to find Whiteface Chalet as it met or exceeded our every need. A couple things that come to mind where the chalet exceeded. Bedrooms and ample seating. Bedrooms were roomy with comfortable beds. King sized beds with one queen size bed isn’t typical. Most properties have a hodgepodge of sizes. Having three en-suite bedrooms was a major plus. There is plenty of seating for socializing...

"Peaceful cabin on the lake- absolutely beautiful views and relaxing scenery. Sunrise over the lake was amazing. The house was adorable- the kids absolutely loved the spiral staircase! Communication with renters was easy and immediate. You aren’t really able to take long showers- but we were warned about that beforehand. I would absolutely Recommend this location to anyone! "

"Overall a very nice space, comfortable and clean. I would stay there again. Only complaint was being accused of having a pet there because the cleaning person found a shirt with hair on it. I was sent an invoice immediately for an extra cleaning fee without even asking first. We were a work crew in the area only staying there to eat and sleep, definitely no space for pets. We did get this cleared up and they said I didn't have to pay the fee."

"Genuinely if you’re in the area and seeking a tranquil little refuge. Look no further. Take it from a guy (me) who books everything last minute. I just happened to pick this place after a long day of hiking and traveling, only to discover how nice it was after. Clean cabins with wonderful owners. Close to everything in the nearby towns, but feels like you’re deep in the woods for a retreat. 10/10. "
