"We had a lovely restful week in this well-appointed cabin in the woods. The walls, floors, and even the ceilings are made of wood all assembled by a ream of excellent carpenters. The kitchen is highly functional and well-outfitted. The stove works very well. The living areas are very comfortable as are the bedrooms. We enjoyed the wood stove. "Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The house was just as pictured. It had a nice view from the living and dining room. The kids loved the game room. The owner responded to our message quickly when we had a small issue. The Cabin was only 20 minutes from Marcy Field, and it was easy for our hikers to catch the shuttle to Big Slide or other trails. The Forty Six restaurant is not far either and has some great food. It is not too far from Lake Placid or Whiteface either. "

Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful.
