"The stay at the Caledon was exceptional. Pre-arrival information was clear and timely as was info on the morning we were to leave. The breakfast was of high quality ingredients with no stinting on the amount served. The coffee and tea in the room was of excellent quality. The bedroom was large and well lit and we really liked the layout with the two single beds at right angles giving us a little extra bit of personal space. "I treated my mom to a weekend away at New Forest last weekend and we stayed at Cottage Lodge Hotel - the room was amazing, super clean and fantastically maintained. The hosts were super sweet and kind. The breakfast was exceptional!! A lot of information for routes around the forest and information for the village and nearby towns. We both look forward to returning back - I really can’t recommend this place enough. We loved absolutely everything!"

"Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."
