"My brother and I stayed here for a couple of days, short trip. The food and drink was great, and restaurants were pretty good too. The extra nice treatment from the Expedia crew was really nice too, they really took extra steps to make us feel like royalty. We were greeted with a welcome drink and great service right away. Only complaint is the pool was freezing cold. The swimmable beach on the property was very relaxing, worth going down to and spending some time soaking that in. Would definitely return to this resort."

"The staff and butlers were very accommodating, friendly, and kind. The room and amenities were top notch, clean, and modern. The food was excellent. The only negatives were the live music by the pools was too loud (not relaxing) and the two hot tubs were not working a couple of the days - only warm at best. This vacation was a real treat over the holidays!"

Typically we avoid all inclusive resorts because we enjoy higher quality dining and drinks - we decided to try Grand Velas based on other great reviews and we are so glad we did! We also have to give a shout out to Isabella who served us by the pool, she was fantastic!"
