Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!"

Our older dog is non aggressive reactive so every year I try to find us a secluded place where he could enjoy too. This is definitely the top of the most beautiful place we’ve ever stay. "we enjoyed four days in this very nice and well appointed home on the side of the mountain. Only downside - a neighbor somewhere quite close seemed to be using a rifle or shotgun each evening for nearly an hour - frightening and unpleasant!"

"This property is like staying in a treehouse but with all the modern amenities. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax. The changing views from the back deck are beautiful. We saw lots of deer. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious meals. "
