"Great service from staff"

"We had a great stay over New Year’s Eve. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were excellent. The spa facilities were on the small side and lacked a decent space to sit, but we still very much enjoyed them. The only let down, as others have said in reviews, is the food. It felt basic in comparison to the rest of the facilities and service received elsewhere."

"It was empty in the lead up to Christmas, so breakfast was cooked to order rather than buffet style. Was surprised that guests were put next door to each other rather than spread out so heard the odd bit of corridor noise. We normally stay in the cheapest Premier Inn/Travelodge type hotel when in the area, but enjoyed the lobby space more than I thought and was worth paying that little bit more for. "
