"This property is great for peace and quiet. The damage in the area from hurricane Helene has shut down a lot of trails, waterfalls, and parks. However, it is still very beautiful and we will continue to travel to the area and hopefully stay at this retreat again. Right now it's smart to bring your own food, there aren't very many places to go out to eat unless you prefer fast food. The main highway also has a beautiful gift shop. "Overall stay was decent. Check in process was a little confusing, as you had to drive to one location to check in, and then another to get access to the resort, then another to the actual house. The house itself was a little dated, stairs going down were rotted & loose, so definitely a safety issue and the overall cleanliness just felt off. We knew all this going on, and for the price, it was totally worth it with the amenities the place has to offer. We will definitely be back, just maybe...
