"This property was the perfect mountain getaway. About an hours drive from Bristol and Asheville made for easy day trips. The property is absolutely beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife! All of the furniture was updated and very comfortable and we loved the hot tub and fire pit. We will hopefully be coming back in the future!"

"This is the third time our church has rented the property in some capacity from Joe and it is always a joy being there. Joe is the ideal host, readily available, quick to respond, and extending warmth and welcome. We always recommend going to his food truck on the property too--delicious BBQ! Cannot recommend Joe as a host or this property highly enough. Truly a joy to stay there every time!"

"This fabulous home has everything you could ever want or need for celebrating a family reunion! Our group ranged from 3-93 yrs of age and everyone had a fun yet relaxing time. Mary and Quint are gracious hosts and made us feel like we had come home. The home is beautiful, the grounds filled with goats and sheep and two very friendly dogs. "This trip could not have been any better! The house was clean with the perfect layout for our group. Everyone enjoyed the farm tour and smores party, seeing and meeting all the animals, watching the piglets, holding baby chicks etc. There is so much room outside to explore and play. It’s so peaceful, none of us really wanted to go home. Kids are already planning our next visit. "

"We (2 seniors and 3 girls - 5 to 11) had the BEST week at the Farm Barn. We were enchanted with the baby pigs and goats, the swing was a huge hit and Farmer Steve was patient and allowed the girls to help him. We will never forget our week. Thank you. It was hot part of the week and not having A/C made it sticky but it truly was the only negative. And we would not have traded the experience."

"Whoa! Cannot begin to explain the beauty of this newly renovated farmhouse. I stay in a lot of vacation rentals throughout the year and this, by far, is at the top of my list. The host did such a great job with updating the farmhouse, with still leaving its 1915s charm. The houses' decor is a boho whimsical dream!
