"A very nice hotel, very modern and clean. The staff in the restaurant do understand English very well, and keep getting your order for food wrong. Asked for a bucket of ice and never got it. asked for a pot of tea with two tea bags in it, and just got a pot of hot water. Then a pot with one tea bag, but no milk for the tea. Asked for turkey bacon, which is normally on the buffet, but not avaiable one morning. Was told they would prepare some and bring it to the table. 20 minutes later, finished with breakfast and still no turkey bacon. Chased up the manager who went into the kitchen to order it, as it had never been ordered and took another 10 minutes. Staff needs to learn to communicate in English with the majority of the customers. "

"This was my second stay at Raffles Dubai, and after the wonderful experiences during both stays, I'll be here again on future trips. The hotel is very elegant without being stuffy, and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed with all the amenities needed. The staff are l friendly and helpful (and well-trained), including the reception staff and the concierge staff, who went beyond the 'call of duty' to efficiently arrange reserved tickets for the WTA tennis tournament. The pool area, gym, and locker rooms are wonderful, clean, and well-maintained. I also like the location of the hotel, which is close to the airport and not affected by the hustle and bustle of the downtown areas (e.g., Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa area). Overall, you can't miss with this fabulous hotel/resort destination in Dubai - I give Raffles my highest recommendation. "
