Location is great for all of the sights you come to Venice for, though you do have to go a little further out to find good restaurants. Daily cleaning and mini-bar stocking was great. Could have done with a larger bin for rubbish within the room. The only friction really was trying to figure out the check-in process if arriving outside of hours (8am-4pm). "OK I want to leave a fair review. First of all you have to follow all the provided instruction or you are not getting in. When you enter in the ground floor it's a bit scary but don't be alarmed. You will have to go to the 3rd fl there is no elevator with bags this may be a challenge for some. Staff is nice and helpful. Once you get to the 3rd fl where the rooms are things look good. Buildings are hundreds of years old so keep this in mind. Rooms are clean and decent. Negatives are, limited...

"Our stay was pretty quick. We spent two nights here at the beginning of a three week trip. The room is MUCH smaller than it looks in the photos. There was barely room for two suit cases and ourselves. We booked a water taxi for the end of our trip to take us to the airport who sent the pick-up information to the hotel directly. The hotel claimed they never received any information. Turned out it went to the hotel's "spam" email folder. We missed our water taxi and had to spend an extra 33 euro...

"Beautiful small property with visually stunning touches. It's a somewhat unusual mix of a boutique hotel and an Airbnb, e.g. no front desk or maid service. Fantastic base for us to explore Venice for a few days. Centrally located with a 10-15 minute walk to St. Mark's and the Rialto, 5-10 minute walk to water taxi services, 20-25 minute walk to the train station and automobile pickups. Also, the restaurant right next door, Hostaria Bacanaria, was one of the best meals of our whole trip."

"I like the price/value. 15 minutes walking to the bus station #6 that takes you to Venice downtown. There is a super big grocery store Panarama with good price, 5 minutes driving. The cabin is a little tight for us 4 big people but it’s cozy and warm (with heaters in each room). The only downside is the wifi signal is unstable, and the shower water temperature is not stable. Other than that we had a good time. I recommend it! "
